Life As We Know It, Due Date, For Colored Girls

A couple of movies are coming out that I did recently. In Life As We Know It, I can be seen in the Christmas video scene, the park when Josh is jogging (I'm in a green shirt with a jacket tied around my waist walking with my friend Carl).




Due Date is in theatres on November 5. I was a TSA agent in the airport scene. It was so much fun. Hopefully, I can be seen when Robert Downey Jr. is stopped by security and has to be scanned with the security wand! This should be a very funny movie.



The other movie that is also coming out on November 5 is For Colored Girls, a Tyler Perry movie. I did the opera scene. It looks really good too!

Drop Dead Diva - Season 2

I was on Episode 3 (Long Road to Napa) of Drop Dead Diva. The first scene I was in, I was a courthouse employee, enjoying the outdoors. I'm in the sunglasses

The second scene, I was a "lawyer" in the lawfirm. (Blue shirt)

and my car was also featured - "Kim's" car, she's driving.

The cast and crew are so awesome to work with.

It's been 27 years since I've been pregnant!

Thank goodness it was just a fake pregnant belly. I had the pleasure of working on a new ABC pilot called 187 Detroit a few weeks ago. It stars Michael Imperioli (Sopranos) and is being filmed in a faux-documentary style, with fictional camera crews following a top Motor City homicide division (187 is police code for murder). I was a pregnant patient for a hospital scene. What a great crew and fun night working! No air date yet.

Sandra Bullock wins Best Actress for The Blind Side

How awesome is it that I was in a movie who won an oscar for Best Actress! I loved her acceptance speech because she was so appreciative while still being funny saying:

"Did I really earn this, or did I just wear y'all down?"

Sandra is a class act and I think it's so cool that I was in The Blind Side movie - even if it was for a mere few seconds walking in the background. It was a very cool movie to work on.

This is a show I worked on three different episodes. Kelli Giddish who plays Dr. Kate McGinn is an absolute doll. She was so cool! Can't wait until this airs!

The Blind Side keeps going!

The headline read "Sandra Bullock Makes Box Office History With 'The Blind Side'". Who knew I, along with my many extras friends, would be in such a successful movie. Over the weekend, The Blind Side cracked through the $200 million mark. According to Variety, "The Blind Side" is the first movie ever "driven solely by a top female star" to break $200 million. Over the weekend, the drama box office receipts totaled $208.5 million.

I am so blessed to have been part of such a great movie and it just adds fuel to the fire that I love doing movies, no matter how small the part.

Here I am at one of the private screenings of The Blind Side with Quinton Aaron (Big Mike) and IronE Singleton (thug). After watching the 20/20 interview of The Blind Side and the story behind it, I had no idea that Quinton had struggled through so much before landing the lead in this great story. I'm pretty proud of being in this film!
